Irish Cream
Ingredients
1 can (300ml) of sweetened condensed milk
2 tsp cocoa powder
1 tsp instant coffee or 1 shot of espresso
1/2 tsp pure almond extract
1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups Irish Whiskey (Jameson Caskmates Stout Edition)
1 cup 35% whipping cream
1/2 cup Dream Ultimate Coconut Cream (or add regular coconut cream)
Preparation
Step 1:
in a large bowl, mix sweetened condensed milk and cocoa powder by hand with a whisk until smooth.
Step 2:
Add instant coffee, almond extract and vanilla extract to the mix.
Step 3:
Slowly pour the whiskey and whisk until blended. Then add whipping cream and coconut cream. Transfer to a glass container with a lid. Keep the Irish cream in the fridge for up to six weeks. Shake before serving. Serve on ice, in coffee, hot chocolate or with ice cream. Note: if you would like to make it dairy free just substitute the whipping cream for coconut cream.
